温州医科大学附属眼视光医院学术院长、基因组医学研究院院长。获国家自然基金青年A类项目(原杰青)、国家海外优青和国家重点研发、国自然重点、面上等项目计划支持。围绕 “重大致盲性眼病的AI视觉健康和再生治疗”取得系列原创成果:建立首个万人级高度近视队列,开发眼病遗传诊断产品;研发人类眼病图像处理的AI大模型HRVRL,在全球MICCAI2025眼底影像挑战赛获第一名;首次鉴定出人类胎儿视网膜干细胞,并实现体内外的再生修复功能验证,为数亿视网膜损伤患者干细胞治疗带来新的途径,被选为2025全球眼视光领域十大科技突破。近五年以通讯作者在Nat Microbio、Nat Aging、Nat Comm(3篇)、Sci Trans Med(封面)、Sci Adv、Cancer Cell、Cell Gen、Cell Rep、Blood(封面)、PNAS等发表论文60余篇,获批专利11项,获批国家级/省级累计经费1300余万,培育硕士/博士30余名。
Academic Dean of the Eye Hospital, Wenzhou Medical University; Dean of the Institute of Genomic Medicine, Wenzhou Medical University. Recipient of funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young A Program (formerly the Distinguished Young Scholars Program), the NSFC Overseas Outstanding Youth Program, as well as grants from the National Key R&D Program of China, NSFC Key Projects, and General Projects. Has achieved a series of original research outcomes focusing on "AI-driven visual health and regenerative therapy for major blinding eye diseases" : Established the first large-scale (ten-thousand-level) high myopia cohort and developed genetic diagnostic products for eye diseases; developed HRVRL, a large AI model for processing human ocular disease images, which won first place in the Fundus Image Challenge at MICCAI 2025; first identified human fetal retinal stem cells and validated their regenerative repair function both in vivo and in vitro, offering a new avenue for stem cell therapy for hundreds of millions of patients with retinal damage—this achievement was selected as one of the Top 10 Global Scientific Breakthroughs in Optometry and Ophthalmology in 2025. In the past five years, as corresponding author, has published over 60 papers in journals including Nature Microbiology, Nature Aging, Nature Communications (3 papers), Science Translational Medicine (cover article), Science Advances, Cancer Cell, Cell Genomics, Cell Reports, Blood (cover article), and PNAS. Holds 11 granted patents. Has secured cumulative national and provincial research funding exceeding 13 million RMB. Has supervised more than 30 master's and doctoral students.
